Electrician (Journeyman / Foreman)

About This Role

Seeking skilled electricians to work out of Buda and serve jobs across the Austin, TX area. You’ll perform installations, maintenance, and repairs on commercial and industrial jobsites. Pay range is $20–$37/hr depending on experience and role (journeyman or foreman). This is hands-on work: conduit bending, pulling conduit, installing wireways/raceways, wiring lighting and distribution equipment, reading blueprints, and troubleshooting electrical systems. You must follow local, state, and federal codes, work safely, and coordinate with crew members on site.

What You'll Do

• • Perform electrical installations: conduit bending, pulling conduit, wireway and raceway installation, and lighting setup
• • Install and maintain distribution equipment and commercial/industrial electrical systems
• • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, site layouts, and produce accurate as-built documentation
• • Troubleshoot electrical systems (safety checks, load/amps, wear and tear) and complete repairs
• • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and maintain a safe jobsite
• • Work with foremen, crews, and other trades to plan tasks, maintain tools, and keep job logs

What We're Looking For

• • Hands-on experience with conduit bending, pulling conduit, and installing wireways/raceways
• • Experience installing and maintaining distribution equipment, lighting systems, and commercial/industrial wiring
• • Skilled at reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and site layouts; able to produce as-built drawings
• • Proven ability to troubleshoot electrical systems (amps, faults, safety issues) and perform durable repairs
• • Familiarity with local/state/federal electrical codes and safe work practices on commercial construction sites
• • Strong communication and relationship-building skills; experience as a journeyman or foreman is a plus

Qualifications

• • State Licensed Electrician (required)
• • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
• • Comfortable reading technical drawings and producing as-built documentation
• • English required; Spanish a plus. Ability to pass drug screen/background check as needed
