Industrial Electrician

About this role

Experienced Industrial Electrician needed in Charleston County, SC. This hands-on role combines industrial electrical work (up to 1000V) with project management tasks such as estimating, take-offs, material ordering and billing. Pay range is $20–$28/hr depending on experience. You’ll run multiple small-to-medium projects, work on power, controls, automation and network systems, meet with clients to define scope, and help close new work. Must have at least 5 years of industrial electrical experience, be computer literate (Microsoft Office), and be able to pass a background check and drug screening. What you'll do

• • Read and interpret drawings, schematics, e-plans and specifications for industrial systems up to 1000V
• • Install, troubleshoot and maintain power, controls, automation and network systems on job sites
• • Manage multiple small-to-medium projects: scheduling, manpower planning and on-site oversight
• • Perform take-offs, prepare estimates, order materials and track project costs for billing
• • Meet with clients to define scope, provide estimates, and help secure new projects
• • Keep project documentation up to date and communicate progress to stakeholders

What we're looking for

• • Minimum 5 years of industrial electrical experience
• • Able to read and understand electrical drawings, schematics and e-plans
• • Hands-on experience with power, controls, automation and network systems (≤1000V)
• • Experience managing multiple projects, scheduling crews and tracking costs
• • Proficient with take-offs, estimating and material ordering for small-to-medium projects
• • Computer literate with solid Microsoft Office skills; must pass background check & drug screen

Qualifications

• • High school diploma or trade school certificate preferred
• • Journeyman or Master electrician license preferred
• • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• • OSHA 10/30 or equivalent safety training preferred
• • Able to legally work in the United States; must pass background check and drug screen
