Electrician Foreman
About This Role
Industrial Electrical Foreman needed in Greenville, MS to lead crews on an industrial power project. You will run the daily crew activities, enforce safety and quality, keep work on schedule and on budget, and communicate progress to supervision. This is a hands-on lead role: plan and organize people, tools and materials; maintain accurate records (timesheets, productivity, daily reports); run toolbox talks; and step in to solve technical or scheduling issues. Pay is $42/hr plus $700 weekly per diem. Eligible rehires may receive additional incentive pay.
What You'll Do
- • Lead and manage daily activities of the electrical crew to meet plans, specs, codes and project schedule
- • Plan, coordinate and organize people, tools, equipment and materials for safe, timely construction
- • Conduct toolbox talks, enforce company and government safety rules, and manage crew attitude and performance
- • Maintain accurate records: job quantities, productivity rates, timesheets and daily management reports
- • Coordinate with other trades and project supervision; assist with weekly scheduling and work sequencing
- • Control quality on assigned scopes and work within estimated costs to hit job-cost targets
What We're Looking For
- • 5+ years foreman/lead experience on industrial electrical or power projects
- • Ability to read and follow plans, specifications, blueprints and electrical codes
- • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces; able to climb and work outdoors in all weather
- • Must provide own basic hand tools; able to work 5x10s with overtime, nights and weekends as required
- • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and proven ability to supervise and motivate crews
- • Willingness to maintain accurate timekeeping and daily reports; reliable transportation/valid driver’s license preferred
Qualifications
- • High school diploma or GED preferred
- • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred
- • Confined Space Entry and Fall Protection training (or willing to obtain)
- • NFPA 70E / electrical safety and First Aid/CPR preferred
- • Proficient with basic computer/timekeeping (Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook)
- • Valid state driver’s license and able to pass drug screen and background check
