This is a travel-heavy role working on job sites nationwide—expect multi-day assignments and varied project locations. Pay range is $28–$38/hr plus per diem for travel assignments. If you read drawings, bend conduit, pull large cable, and want steady, skilled work on energy and commercial projects, this role is a good fit.
What You'll Do
- • Install, terminate, and test conduit, wiring, and large cable on substation, commercial, industrial, solar, and wind sites
- • Read and follow electrical drawings, schematics, and jobsite instructions to complete installs to code
- • Perform medium- and high-voltage terminations, splice work, and routine testing as required by project scope
- • Bend conduit, pull conduit and large cable, and install lighting, standby/emergency systems, and VDV systems
- • Follow safety policies, maintain clean and organized work areas, and complete daily reports and documentation
- • Coordinate with crew leads, equipment operators, and other trades to keep projects on schedule
What We're Looking For
- • State-licensed journeyman electrician with 2+ years of electrical experience
- • Hands-on experience on substation, commercial, industrial, solar, wind, or energy projects
- • Skilled in conduit bending, pulling large cable, medium/high-voltage work, and reading electrical drawings
- • Willingness and ability to travel frequently and work multi-day assignments away from home
- • Knowledge of building codes, safety practices, and installation/maintenance of standby/emergency systems
- • Comfortable installing lighting, VDV (voice/data/video) systems, and performing general electrical work
Qualifications
- • State Licensed Electrician (Journeyman)
- • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel
- • Minimum 2 years of relevant electrical experience
- • Ability to travel nationwide and stay on multi-day assignments
- • Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor site conditions
What We Offer
- • $28–$38 per hour depending on experience
- • Per diem for travel assignments
- • Nationwide work assignments with steady project flow
- • Overtime opportunities on many projects
- • Variety of project types — substation, solar, wind, commercial, and industrial
