About This Role

Join a hands-on electrical crew in Lebanon, IN as an Electrical Journeyman. You’ll work on maintenance and installation projects across power delivery and industrial sites—assembling, testing and repairing wiring, motors, transformers, generators and high-voltage equipment. This role is practical and field-focused: read prints and work orders, perform system tests and preventive maintenance, troubleshoot faults, and keep jobs running safely and on schedule. Expect varied daily work, close teamwork, and a strong emphasis on code compliance and safe practices.

What You'll Do

  • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, and fixtures using hand and power tools
  • Install, repair, and maintain motors, transformers, generators, lights, circuits, and other electrical components
  • Read and interpret plans, drawings, specifications, and work orders to determine work sequence and materials
  • Test electrical systems and continuity using meters, ohmmeters, voltmeters and other test equipment; document results
  • Perform preventive maintenance, system tests, and troubleshooting to diagnose and repair electrical problems
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area, keep supplies stocked, and follow safety procedures and electrical codes

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years of related electrical experience (power delivery, substation or industrial preferred)
  • Trade school, technical certificate, or completed apprenticeship
  • Ability to read prints, schematics and work orders and use electrical test equipment
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs; perform repetitive hand/arm movements and climb/lift as needed
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

  • State Licensed Electrician (required or equivalent journeyman credential)
  • Forklift operator certification
  • CDL-A (preferred for site/haul work)
  • Experience with high-voltage and substation equipment or operator background
  • Ability to speak and understand English; Spanish is a plus
  • Project-specific safety training and ability to pass employer/apprentice aptitude requirements
