Electrical General Foreman

About This Role

Power Delivery project in Lebanon, IN needs an experienced Electrical General Foreman to lead substation and power delivery crews. You’ll supervise foremen and craft workers, keep work on schedule, and make sure jobs are done safely and to spec. This is a hands-on foreman role — expect to read blueprints, set work sequences, estimate worker-hours, resolve problems in the field, maintain time records, and coach crews. Pay up to $50/hr with per diem for qualified candidates working away from home.

What You'll Do

• • Supervise and coordinate foremen and craft teams on substation and power delivery work, ensuring crews follow plans and schedules
• • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, specifications and job orders to set daily work tasks
• • Plan and adjust work sequences, estimate worker-hours, and assign crew resources to meet project milestones
• • Enforce safety rules, company policies, and applicable state/federal regulations on-site
• • Maintain accurate time and labor records, assist with cost estimates and track material/crew productivity
• • Troubleshoot and resolve work problems in the field; provide hands-on coaching and performance feedback to crew leaders

What We're Looking For

• • High school diploma or GED
• • Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Electrical General Foreman on power substation/power delivery projects
• • Proven experience with conduit bending, transformer installation/maintenance, and medium/high-voltage work
• • Skilled reading blueprints, schematics, and job specifications
• • Able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in variable conditions
• • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; willing to travel and work per diem assignments

Qualifications

• • High school diploma or GED
• • 5+ years as an Electrical General Foreman in substation/power delivery
• • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred
• • NFPA 70E / electrical safety training preferred
• • Clean driving record and ability to pass drug screen
• • Proven crew leadership and time/material tracking experience
