Civil Foreman

About This Role

We need an experienced Civil Foreman for industrial construction work in Forsyth, GA. This is a hands-on, day-shift foreman role — you will run crews, manage day-to-day field work, and ensure job quality and safety. This is strictly a foreman position (not a project manager or superintendent). Pay is $32.00/hr. Eligible candidates living 50+ miles away will receive a $125/day per diem on days worked. Must have 10+ years of construction/industrial field experience and be ready to lead a crew on commercial/industrial civil jobs.

What You'll Do

• • Lead and supervise field crews on day-shift civil/industrial projects
• • Read and implement civil drawings and site layouts; verify work matches plans
• • Coordinate permits, inspections, and daily subcontractor activities
• • Perform work inspections, enforce safety procedures, and correct deficiencies
• • Track project progress, document daily logs, and report status to management
• • Help define scope, objectives and deliverables for assigned tasks

What We're Looking For

• • 10+ years construction or industrial field experience with civil focus
• • Proven foreman experience leading crews on day shift (not PM or superintendent)
• • Strong leadership, crew management, and clear verbal/written communication
• • Ability to read civil drawings, perform site layout, and inspect work
• • Knowledge of building codes, permits, inspections, and construction methods
• • Enforce safety and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations

Qualifications

• • OSHA 10 (required) or OSHA 30 (preferred)
• • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• • Proven track record in civil construction and crew supervision
• • Strong blueprint/drawing interpretation skills
• • Ability to pass drug screen and background check (as required by site)
