General Laborer — Temple, TX

About this role

We are hiring general laborers in Temple, TX to support active construction sites. You’ll handle cleanup, unload and stage materials, control on-site traffic, and assist carpenters and other trades. Work is outdoors and hands-on with concrete, framing and site-prep tasks. This role requires following pre-task plans and toolbox talks, working safely at heights and on uneven ground, and using basic hand tools and access equipment (ladders, scaffolds, scissor lifts). OSHA-10 certification is required and the shift involves physical, outdoor conditions year-round.

What you'll do

• • Perform site cleanup, debris removal, sweeping, trash handling and maintain tidy work areas
• • Stage materials, unload trucks, inspect and inventory tools and equipment
• • Direct foot/vehicle traffic, open/close gates, set up and maintain fence lines
• • Work from ladders, scaffolds, scissor lifts and other elevated surfaces as needed
• • Assist carpenters and other trades with concrete, framing and general labor tasks

What we're looking for

• • OSHA-10 certification required (OSHA-30 preferred for foreman/lead roles)
• • Comfortable with physically demanding outdoor work and able to lift/carry up to 80 lbs
• • Experience with site cleanup, material handling, traffic control, and basic concrete work
• • Familiarity using hand tools and general access equipment; safe operation practices
• • Clear communicator, able to follow safety plans, toolbox talks and direction from foremen

Qualifications

• • OSHA-10 certification (required); OSHA-30 preferred for supervisory roles
• • Comfort working at heights and on uneven or unpaved surfaces
• • Ability to read basic instructions and communicate clearly with crew
• • Experience operating or willingness to train on scissor lifts, boom lifts or forklifts (certifications preferred)
• • Able to pass site safety orientations and comply with PPE and safety rules
