Labor Foreman

About This Role

We are hiring a hands-on Labor Foreman in Williamsburg, VA to lead and coordinate general construction crews on site. You will run daily crew tasks, set schedules, enforce safety and quality, and report progress directly to the Superintendent. This is a practical, on-the-tools role for someone with at least 2 years construction experience. We offer competitive pay, a full benefits package, and a retirement program. What You'll Do

• • Coordinate and schedule daily crew tasks; monitor crew attendance and productivity
• • Assign and supervise workers’ daily responsibilities; train crew members on tasks and safety
• • Ensure adequate manpower, tools, materials and site setup to meet daily objectives
• • Enforce safety protocols and quality standards; perform routine work inspections
• • Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues and report job progress to the Superintendent

What We're Looking For

• • 2+ years of hands-on construction experience (commercial or residential)
• • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• • OSHA 10 certification required — or willingness to obtain (assistance provided)
• • Ability to read basic construction drawings and use hand tools safely
• • Strong leadership, clear verbal/written communication, and crew management skills
• • Physically able to work outdoors in variable weather and lift materials as needed

Qualifications

• • OSHA 10-hour certification (or willing to obtain)
• • High school diploma or GED
• • Minimum 2 years construction experience
• • English — able to communicate clearly on site
