About this role

We’re hiring a hands-on General Installer in Orlando to support commercial projects, custom cutting, and warehouse operations. You’ll work primarily on commercial interiors and Division 10/fixtures tasks — helping install countertops, cabinets, in-wall backing, wall protection, and other site furnishings. Typical schedule is day shift with the possibility of overtime or occasional weekend work depending on project needs.

What you'll do

  • Perform general labor duties: material handling, staging, loading/unloading, and site cleanup
  • Operate custom cutting tools and equipment for countertops, panels and specialty materials
  • Support commercial installation tasks: cabinet, countertop, door/hardware, and wall protection installation
  • Measure, mark and cut materials to drawings and site layout; ensure pattern matching and alignment for finishes
  • Set up and use scaffolding and assist with crane signaling, in-wall blocking and site framing as directed

What we're looking for

  • Hands-on experience with commercial construction, warehouse work, and custom cutting
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, layouts and basic shop marks
  • Proven skills in cabinet and countertop installation, trim/paneling and finish carpentry
  • Experience with metal and wood framing, wallcovering measurement/cutting, and specialty material handling
  • Comfort using power saws, routers, measuring tools, and scaffolding systems safely
  • Reliable attendance, ability to follow directions, and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Qualifications

  • English — required (able to read plans and follow verbal instructions)
  • Prior commercial installation or carpentry experience (recommended 1–3 years)
  • Ability to pass site drug screening and background check when required
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to Orlando-area job sites
  • OSHA 10 or equivalent site safety training preferred

What we offer

  • Stable, ongoing commercial project work with clear day-shift schedules
  • Paid site-specific safety training and on-the-job skills training
  • Company-provided PPE and most specialty tools/equipment for the job
  • Opportunities for overtime and cross-training on multiple installation tasks
  • Clear advancement path to lead or foreman roles for skilled installers
