What You'll Do
- • Perform general labor: material handling, loading/unloading, site cleanup and debris removal
- • Operate custom cutting tools and equipment for countertops, panels, and specialty materials
- • Support commercial installation tasks: cabinet/countertop installation, door/hardware, trim, stair treads, and wall protection/Division 10 items
- • Measure, layout and cut materials to drawings and specifications; assist with site layout and in‑wall backing
- • Maintain a safe, organized work area and follow site safety rules; assist with scaffolding set-up and crane signaling as needed
What We're Looking For
- • Minimum 2 years commercial construction, installation or warehouse experience; comfortable in fast-paced jobsite environments
- • Ability to read and interpret drawings and perform accurate measuring and cutting
- • Proven carpentry skills: bench, finish and rough carpentry, cabinetmaking, trim and paneling, and basic framing
- • Experience with countertop and cabinet installation, door/hardware fit, and Division 10 / wall protection products
- • Operate cutting tools and shop equipment safely; experience with scaffolding, crane signaling or rigging a plus
- • Able to lift 50+ lbs, stand for long periods, reliable attendance and flexible work schedule (overtime as needed)
Qualifications
- • English required (able to follow safety directions and read plans)
- • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- • OSHA 10-hour construction card preferred
- • Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to certify)
- • Crane signaling experience or certification a plus
- • Willingness to submit to background check and drug screening
What We Offer
- • Competitive pay range $17–$30/hr DOE with overtime opportunities
- • Consistent, local commercial work with steady weekly hours
- • Paid on-the-job training and skill development for installers
- • Personal protective equipment and basic tools provided or reimbursed
- • Opportunity for advancement to lead or foreman roles based on performance
