General Labor Craftsman
About this role
Join a hands-on craftsman role based in Beaumont, TX. You’ll perform skilled construction, interior finishing, maintenance, and repair work across building, civil, and structural service projects. Work is on-site and project-driven; you’ll support field leadership to get jobs done safely, on time, and to quality standards. This is a practical role for someone who reads drawings, handles concrete formwork and finishing, performs drywall work, and tackles excavation, demolition, and general construction tasks. Expect varied day-to-day work and the chance to build multiple skill sets on commercial and residential service jobs in the Beaumont area.
What you'll do
- • Perform skilled construction tasks: concrete formwork, pouring, finishing, carpentry, and site layout.
- • Install and finish drywall, perform interior trim and finishing, and complete punch-list items.
- • Execute maintenance and repair on building, civil, and structural projects including excavation/trench work and general concrete repairs.
- • Read and interpret drawings, measure and cut materials, load/unload materials and equipment, and maintain proper site organization.
- • Support field leadership with work inspection, quality checks, and enforcing safety procedures on site.
- • Perform demolition, site cleanup, and assist trades as needed to keep projects on schedule.
What we're looking for
- • Proven experience with concrete work (formwork, placement/pouring, finishing) and general construction methods.
- • Able to read and interpret drawings, perform site layout, measure and cut materials accurately.
- • Drywall installation and finishing experience; basic carpentry skills for trim and finish work.
- • Experience with excavation/trench work, demolition, and site cleanup; able to load/unload materials safely.
- • Working knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standard construction safety practices; must enforce safety procedures on site.
- • Comfortable supporting multiple scopes (building, civil, structural) and following directions from field leadership to meet quality standards.
Qualifications
- • High school diploma or equivalent
- • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to Beaumont job sites
- • Ability to pass drug screen and background check
- • OSHA 10 (or site safety card) preferred
- • Trade certifications in concrete, drywall, or plumbing are a plus, or equivalent field experience
