General Labor Production Worker

About This Role

Join our crew in Los Lunas, NM as a production worker where hands-on skills in carpentry, concrete, and forklift operation are put to use every day. This is a per diem position for dependable tradespeople who can handle physical work, follow directions, and keep projects moving safely and on schedule. You’ll support construction and production tasks across local sites — framing, forming and finishing concrete, material handling with a forklift, and general construction duties. Per diem pay is offered; exact rates and schedules will be provided during the hiring process. Reliable attendance, a good work ethic, and the ability to work as part of a small crew matter most.

What You'll Do

• • Perform general carpentry tasks: cutting, fitting, framing, and basic repairs on-site
• • Mix, form, pour, and finish concrete; clean and maintain concrete tools and forms
• • Operate forklift for material loading/unloading and safe on-site placement of supplies
• • Assist with site set-up, clean-up, and organization to maintain a safe work area
• • Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with crew members to meet daily production goals

What We're Looking For

• • Minimum 1+ years experience in carpentry, concrete, or general construction work
• • Certified forklift operator or demonstrable forklift experience
• • Ability to perform physical labor (lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, bending, climbing)
• • Reliable transportation to Los Lunas job sites and punctual attendance
• • Willingness to work per diem schedule and flexible shifts, including possible overtime

Qualifications

• • Valid forklift certification (preferred)
• • OSHA 10-hour or equivalent safety training (preferred)
• • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• • English required; Spanish bilingual a plus
