Roll Form Operator

About This Role

Hands-on Roll Form Operator role in Phoenix working the roll forming line and steel saw operations. You’ll set up tooling, run SAMCO-controlled equipment, perform quality checks, and handle routine maintenance to keep production moving. Pay up to $44/hr. This is physical, production-focused work — you’ll use wrenches, feeler gauges, band saws, grinders, and material handling gear. Strong attention to detail, basic computer skills (Excel/Smartsheets/D365), and proven SAMCO experience are required. Overtime and on-the-job training are available for candidates who deliver consistent results.

What You'll Do

• • Set up, change over, and run the roll forming line to print specifications using SAMCO and related controls.
• • Perform daily inspections and preventative maintenance; log maintenance and production data.
• • Monitor finished parts for dimensional tolerances, quality, width, and length; make machine adjustments as needed.
• • Operate band saws/steel saw and other shop tools; stack, mark, pack, and transport finished pieces.
• • Maintain setup charts, coil tags, usage logs (scrap, loose material) and accurate footage for inventory.
• • Train and support other operators on basic roll form operation and safe equipment use.

What We're Looking For

• • Minimum 3 years manufacturing or machine operator experience; roll forming experience strongly preferred.
• • Required experience working with SAMCO machines and computerized roll former controls.
• • At least 2 years forklift experience; comfortable operating material handling equipment.
• • Basic computer skills: Excel, Smartsheets; able to complete electronic logs and production reports.
• • Mechanical aptitude for tooling setup, minor machine repairs, and maintaining dimensional tolerances.
• • Must lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and follow strict PPE and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• • English required
• • Forklift certification or equivalent experience (2+ years)
• • Prior roll forming or CNC/machine operator experience (3+ years)
• • Hands-on experience with SAMCO controllers (required)
• • Basic PC proficiency: Excel, Smartsheets, D365 inventory tagging
• • Able to meet physical requirements: lift 50 lbs, stand/sit for long periods, wear PPE
