What You'll Do

  • Supervise, train, and mentor workers; allocate responsibilities and check workmanship for quality.
  • Ensure manpower, materials, tools, and equipment are available for each shift.
  • Enforce all site safety procedures and quality standards; run toolbox talks and report hazards.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings and layout instructions to guide the crew.
  • Resolve on-site problems, remove blockers, and report progress and issues to the Superintendent.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of construction experience, including supervisory or lead duties.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans.
  • Strong leadership, communication (verbal & written), and team-management skills.
  • OSHA 10-hour Construction certification or willingness to obtain (assistance provided).
  • Able to work outdoors in varying weather and handle high-stress situations.

Qualifications

  • OSHA 10-hour Construction certification (required or willing to obtain).

  • 2+ years construction experience with crew lead or foreman duties.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and layout plans.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • English required; Spanish bilingual skills helpful.

What We Offer

  • Competitive pay based on experience; overtime available.
  • Assistance with OSHA-10 certification and on-the-job training.
  • Opportunities for advancement to lead roles and superintendent track.
  • Tool or travel stipend and steady local projects in San Antonio.
