General Laborer (Concrete)

About this role

Immediate openings for general laborers in El Paso, TX to work on commercial structural concrete projects. This is a per diem position focused on hands-on concrete tasks: formwork carpentry, reinforcing, placement/pouring, finishing, form stripping and protection. You will work as part of a crew supporting skilled trades, follow site safety directions and complete basic construction tasks. Open to workers willing to relocate to the El Paso area for the project.

What you'll do

• • Load, unload and move materials and equipment on site
• • Perform site cleanup, debris removal and housekeeping each shift
• • Assist skilled trades with concrete reinforcing, rebar and layout
• • Support concrete placement and pouring operations, including pump hose handling
• • Build, set and strip concrete formwork (carpentry) and protect/ cure concrete after placement
• • Perform basic concrete finishing tasks and follow crew instructions for quality control

What we're looking for

• • OSHA-10 certification (required)
• • Hands-on experience with structural concrete: formwork, reinforcing, placement and finishing
• • Familiarity with concrete curing, protection and form stripping procedures
• • Able to perform physical labor, lift heavy materials and work outdoors in changing conditions
• • Reliable attendance, ability to follow directions and work as part of a crew
• • Willingness to work a per diem assignment and relocate to El Paso if needed

Qualifications

• • OSHA-10 card
• • Proven experience in structural concrete work (placement, finishing, formwork)
• • Experience handling concrete pump hose and form stripping
• • Basic English for safety communication
• • Physically able to lift and carry materials and perform repetitive labor
