General Laborer
About This Role
Non-union general laborers needed in El Paso, TX for construction-related work. You’ll perform basic site tasks, support skilled trades, and help keep job sites safe and organized. This is hands-on, physical work — ideal if you’re dependable, ready to work hard, and want steady hours. Expect day-to-day tasks like loading and unloading materials, cleanup, and assisting carpenters, concrete crews, and other trades. Safety and following directions are required. Local candidates with reliable transportation and a strong work ethic are encouraged to apply.
What You'll Do
- • Load, unload, carry and distribute materials on site
- • Clean and maintain job site — remove debris, sweep, stack materials
- • Assist skilled trades (carpentry, concrete, electrical) with basic tasks
- • Set up and break down simple temporary barriers, barricades, and tools
- • Follow supervisor directions and all site safety procedures
What We're Looking For
- • Experience with loading/unloading materials and site clean up
- • Basic knowledge of general and commercial construction site work
- • Able to perform physical labor, stand and lift repeatedly (up to 50+ lbs)
- • Reliable attendance, punctuality, and ability to work on a crew
- • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather and on active sites
Qualifications
- • Valid government-issued ID; reliable transportation to job sites
- • OSHA 10 or willing to obtain (preferred)
- • Able to pass a basic background and drug screen (if required)
- • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
- • High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
