General Laborer — El Paso, TX (Per Diem)

About this role

We’re hiring non-union general laborers in El Paso for construction work with a strong concrete focus. This is a per diem position supporting commercial and structural concrete crews — you’ll be doing hands-on work like loading/unloading, formwork, concrete placement, finishing, and site cleanup. You’ll work under crew leads and support skilled trades on busy job sites. OSHA 10 is required. Open to workers willing to relocate — per diem pay and steady project work available for reliable, safety-focused candidates.

What you'll do

• • Load and unload material, tools, and equipment at job sites
• • Set up and strip concrete formwork; assist with form carpentry tasks
• • Support concrete placement and pouring, including hose/hose-man tasks
• • Assist with concrete reinforcing, finishing, curing and protection
• • Perform daily site clean-up and debris removal; maintain safe work areas
• • Follow directions from leads, work as part of a crew, and follow site safety procedures

What we're looking for

• • Hands-on experience with concrete work: placement, finishing, formwork, and reinforcing
• • Experience loading/unloading materials and basic site carpentry
• • Comfort working on commercial/structural construction sites
• • Able to follow safety directions and work under crew leads
• • Physically able to lift, carry, and handle materials throughout the shift

Qualifications

• • OSHA 10 certification (required)
• • Prior experience with structural concrete and formwork carpentry
• • Familiarity with concrete hose/placement operations (hose-man experience a plus)
• • Able to lift 50+ lbs and pass a physical fit-for-duty check
• • Spanish/English bilingual a plus; valid ID and eligibility to work in the U.S.
