General Laborer

About This Role

We are looking for reliable general laborers in or near Pampa, Texas to perform hands-on construction and site support tasks. This is physical work assisting skilled trades, handling materials, signing for deliveries, and keeping the jobsite safe and organized. You’ll support concrete, excavation, drywall and civil crews, set up temporary fencing and scaffolding, operate or assist forklift operators when certified, and perform routine site cleanup. Local candidates who can start quickly and work consistent day shifts are preferred.

What You'll Do

• • Load, unload and move materials on site; sign for and track deliveries
• • Support skilled trades (concrete, drywall, excavation) with basic tasks and tooling
• • Install and dismantle temporary fencing and scaffolding systems under supervision
• • Perform site layout tasks and assist with excavation, trench work and general concrete duties
• • Maintain site housekeeping — remove debris, sweep, and prepare areas for trades
• • Assist with traffic control/flagging and follow site safety directions

What We're Looking For

• • Previous construction or general labor experience preferred (concrete, excavation, drywall helpful)
• • Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (regularly up to 50 lbs)
• • Basic knowledge of inventory control and signing for deliveries
• • Comfort working outdoors in varied weather and on uneven ground
• • Forklift operation and flagger experience is a plus; willingness to train if needed
• • Reliable transportation to Pampa job sites and punctual attendance

Qualifications

• • Valid driver's license and government ID to sign for deliveries
• • Forklift certification preferred (can be provided/paid in some cases)
• • Flagger/traffic control certification a plus
• • Ability to pass a basic drug screen and background check
• • Prior experience with scaffolding, concrete work, excavation, or drywall installation preferred
