Full Time

General Labor — Skilled Laborer (Seabrook, TX)

Seabrook, TX

About This Role

Experienced skilled laborers wanted for ongoing projects in Seabrook and throughout the Houston area. This role is hands-on: you'll perform a mix of material handling, site prep, concrete and demolition tasks, and equipment support on commercial and residential jobs. Work is full-time with travel between local job sites. We need reliable, experienced workers who know how to use basic construction tools, follow directions, and keep job sites clean and safe. Pay is competitive and depends on experience (DOE). Weekly or biweekly pay, steady hours, and consistent work available for the right crew members.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and maintain job sites: clean-up, layout, and basic framing or form work
  • Load, unload, and move materials and equipment safely on-site
  • Operate hand and basic power tools (saws, grinders, drills) and assist equipment operators
  • Assist with concrete work, demolition, site grading, and basic finishing tasks
  • Follow directions from foremen, read basic work instructions, and keep accurate time records
  • Maintain tools and PPE, report hazards, and help enforce site safety procedures

What We're Looking For

  • 1+ years of construction or skilled labor experience on commercial or residential sites
  • Able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work in heat, rain, and outdoor conditions
  • Reliable transportation to Seabrook and nearby Houston-area job sites
  • Basic tool knowledge and ability to use common hand and power tools safely
  • Willingness to follow safety rules, pass a drug screen, and submit to background check if required

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
  • OSHA 10-hour card preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  • Forklift/skid-steer certification a plus
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus

What We Offer

  • Competitive hourly pay (DOE) with overtime after 40 hours
  • Consistent, local work across the Houston area — travel paid between sites when required
  • Paid on a regular schedule (weekly or biweekly) and clear time tracking
  • On-the-job training and skill development for equipment operation and trade tasks
  • PPE provided or allowance for basic tools and safety gear
  • Opportunity for steady placement with repeat local projects
