Glazier Team Lead
About This Role
Join a new, growing glass crew in Atlanta as the founding Glazier Team Lead. This hands-on role pays $25–30/hr DOE and puts you in charge of building and leading the initial glazing crews while performing residential and light-commercial installs and repairs. You’ll work with top-tier tools and company vehicles, handle on-site layout and installations, coordinate with customers and subs, and have a clear path to grow into the General Manager role. If you’re a practical, experienced glazier who can lead a crew and get tough jobs done right, this is a strong opportunity to shape a business from day one.
What You'll Do
- • Lead, train, and schedule initial glazing crews on residential and light-commercial jobs
- • Measure, cut, install, and replace windows, glass doors, mirrors, and storefront systems per drawings and specs
- • Perform field layout, glazing sealant application, glazing hardware installation, and finish work
- • Inspect completed work, ensure code compliance, and handle on-site quality checks and punch lists
- • Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment; manage jobsite safety and OSHA practices
- • Communicate with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors; complete job paperwork and use construction management software for scheduling and reporting
What We're Looking For
- • 3+ years hands-on residential and light-commercial glazing or storefront experience
- • Proven ability to lead and build small crews; strong communication and client-facing skills
- • Reading and interpreting drawings, measuring, and on-site problem solving
- • Working knowledge of local building codes, inspection processes, and glazing materials
- • Comfort using construction management software, job documentation, and basic estimating
- • Professional, punctual, able to pass background and drug screen; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Qualifications
- • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- • OSHA 10 (preferred) or willingness to complete upon hire
- • High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
- • Ability to pass background check and drug screen
- • English required; Spanish a plus
