What you'll do

- • Monitor and manage tunnel systems from a control room (ventilation, lighting, traffic) and respond to alarms or emergency situations.
- • Perform daily inspections, basic troubleshooting and routine equipment upkeep to prevent downtime.
- • Read and work to grade plans, use proper rigging methods, and support excavation and installation tasks underground.
- • Keep accurate logs of equipment status, work performed and any incidents; attend daily activity and safety briefings.
- • Work as part of the crew to coordinate movements, traffic control in the tunnel and assist other trades as needed.
What we're looking for
- • Minimum 3+ years heavy equipment operation experience; tunnel/underground experience strongly preferred.
- • Qualified to operate CCO crane and comfortable with locomotives, TBM and slurry/water treatment equipment.
- • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 training required; strong working knowledge of confined-space and underground safety protocols.
- • Ability to read and follow grade plans, perform rigging and signal work, and carry out basic mechanical maintenance.
- • Physically fit for confined-space work, prolonged operating shifts, nights/weekends and occasional emergency call-outs.
- • Clear communicator with crew-level teamwork and radio/hand-signal skills.
Qualifications

- • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- • High school diploma or equivalent
- • Valid U.S. work authorization and driver's license
- • Ability to pass drug screen and background check
