What You'll Do
- • Lead and manage insulation crews and on-site work across residential and commercial projects.
- • Set daily and weekly schedules, assign work, and monitor productivity to meet project deadlines.
- • Enforce safety and quality standards on every job; conduct site safety checks and toolbox talks.
- • Train, coach, and mentor field staff; identify skill gaps and arrange on-the-job or classroom training.
- • Coordinate with sales/estimating, procurement, and finance to support bids, manage budgets, and control project costs.
- • Build and maintain client and vendor relationships; order local equipment and materials as needed and handle job-site communications.
What We're Looking For
- • 5+ years construction or insulation experience preferred (installation, sales, or supervision).
- • Strong knowledge of insulation materials and methods (spray foam, fiberglass, cellulose, batts, rigid board).
- • Ability to read basic blueprints, drawings, and specifications; strong communication and negotiation skills.
- • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel to job sites across the Austin area.
- • Comfortable climbing ladders, working in attics/crawlspaces, and performing physical tasks on job sites.
- • Proficient with Microsoft Office and common CRM/estimating tools; self-starter who works well independently.
Qualifications
- • High school diploma or GED required.
- • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
- • OSHA 10 (preferred) — OSHA 30 or equivalent safety training a plus.
- • Spray-foam applicator or manufacturer certifications preferred but not required.
- • Ability to pass background check and drug screen; bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
What We Offer
- • Pay up to $35/hr depending on experience plus potential performance bonuses.
- • Paid training and certification assistance (spray-foam, safety) and on-the-job development.
- • Health benefits and paid time off (details discussed at interview).
- • Mileage or travel reimbursement for job-site travel and company-provided PPE and safety gear.
- • Opportunities for career growth and increased pay with proven performance.
