About This Role

Join a hands-on industrial team in Clarksville, TN as a Millwright working on construction, turnaround and maintenance projects. You’ll be installing, aligning, troubleshooting and repairing rotating machinery—pumps, compressors, conveyors, gearboxes, motors, fans and turbines—using precision tools and alignment equipment. This role is physically demanding and schedule-driven. Expect travel, overtime, weekend work and close teamwork with crane operators, welders, pipefitters and other craft personnel. Strong focus on safety, precision and getting the job done right every shift.

What You'll Do

  • Install, align, troubleshoot and repair rotating equipment and industrial machinery (pumps, compressors, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, fans, turbines).
  • Perform precision shaft and coupling alignment using laser alignment systems, dial indicators and precision measuring tools.
  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, P&IDs and equipment manuals to execute installations and repairs.
  • Dismantle and reassemble machinery during outages and capital projects; perform bearing replacements, seal work and mechanical assemblies.
  • Assist with rigging, signaling and equipment lifts; follow safe lifting procedures and work with crane operators during installs/removals.
  • Conduct equipment inspections, document deficiencies and complete work reports; assist with field modifications and fabrication as needed.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3–5 years industrial millwright or rotating equipment experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs and equipment manuals.
  • Hands-on experience with laser alignment, dial indicators and precision measurement tools.
  • Familiarity with rigging practices, signaling and safe lifting procedures.
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently (assist up to 100 lbs), climb, kneel and work extended shifts in industrial environments.
  • Willingness to travel, work overtime, weekends and shutdown schedules; reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred.

Qualifications

  • NCCER Millwright Certification (preferred)
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
  • Qualified Rigger & Signal Person (preferred)
  • Forklift Operator Certification
  • Scissor Lift / Aerial Lift Certification
  • TWIC card (if required by customer sites)
  • Valid driver's license
  • English — ability to read and communicate on jobsite
