Painter / Paperhanger — Architectural Overlay Installer

About This Role

Join a nationwide crew installing specialty architectural wraps and films on doors, walls, cabinetry, columns and other interior surfaces. Work is primarily commercial, indoors, and performed on clean, usually air-conditioned job sites. This role fits detail-oriented hands-on workers with construction experience or backgrounds in window film, vehicle/graphics wraps, or sign/graphics work. We guarantee a 40-hour week, pay starts at $25–$30/hr, and you can earn quick raises based on work quality and how fast you learn.

What You'll Do

• • Measure, cut and install specialty wrap/film on doors, walls, cabinetry, columns and other interior surfaces
• • Prepare and clean surfaces for installation: remove hardware, repair minor defects, and ensure proper adhesion
• • Perform precise finish work and trimming for clean, professional edges and seams
• • Follow project plans, drawings and site instructions; read and interpret simple shop drawings
• • Maintain tools, knives, and installation supplies; keep work areas clean and secure
• • Work on commercial construction sites, follow site safety rules, and coordinate with other trades

What We're Looking For

• • Hands-on construction experience or background in window film, graphics, or car wraps
• • Strong measuring and cutting skills; steady hand and fine motor skills for finish work
• • Ability to read basic drawings and interpret installation instructions
• • Knowledge of surface preparation and understanding of construction methods and materials
• • Attention to detail and commitment to producing a tight, professional finish
• • Able to work indoors on commercial job sites; reliable attendance and good work pace

Qualifications

• • High school diploma or GED preferred
• • Prior experience with window film, vehicle/graphics wraps, or sign installation is a plus
• • OSHA 10 or similar safety training preferred
• • Valid driver's license may be required for some assignments
• • Able to pass basic background check and drug screening when required
