About This Role
Seeking an experienced journeyman pipefitter with strong HDPE piping skills for day-shift assignments across the country. This is hands-on field work installing, testing and troubleshooting HDPE systems on steady, project-based jobs. Pay is $35/hr plus $130 per diem for days worked. Candidates must have 5+ years of pipefitting experience, proven HDPE experience, a journeyman-level background, and be willing to relocate to job locations nationwide.
What You'll Do
- • Install, fuse and join HDPE piping to project specifications and industry standards
- • Read and follow technical drawings, blueprints and alignment/layout plans
- • Perform leak testing, system troubleshooting and pressure testing on installed piping
- • Fit, cut, thread and assemble piping, valves and fittings using appropriate tools
- • Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow site safety protocols and permits
What We're Looking For
- • Minimum 5 years pipefitting experience at journeyman level
- • Proven hands-on HDPE piping and fusion experience (electrofusion/ butt fusion)
- • Strong blueprint and technical drawing interpretation skills
- • Skilled in piping installation, system troubleshooting and general plumbing tasks
- • Able to work day shift, travel to job sites nationwide, and relocate as needed
Qualifications
- • Journeyman-level certification or equivalent trade experience
- • 5+ years documented pipefitting experience
- • Verified HDPE fusion and installation experience
- • Valid driver's license and ability to travel or relocate
- • Able to pass site pre-employment drug screen and background checks (if required)
