Pipefitter Craftsman — Night Shift

About This Role

Join a night-shift crew as a Pipefitter Craftsman working on industrial projects across KY. This overnight role pays $31/hour and is open to tradespeople with at least 3 years of industrial pipefitting experience. You’ll perform hands-on installation and troubleshooting on steel and plastic piping systems during overnight shifts. We need dependable, safety-minded pipefitters who can read plans, follow work orders, and get the job done with minimal supervision. If you’re experienced with valve installation, piping fabrication, and system troubleshooting and prefer steady night work, this is a solid opportunity to earn good pay and build more industrial experience.

What You'll Do

• • Install, assemble and secure steel and plastic piping systems per drawings and specifications
• • Install and adjust valves, fittings and supports; ensure proper alignment and leak-free connections
• • Troubleshoot piping systems and valves to locate and repair leaks, blockages, and mechanical issues
• • Read and interpret blueprints, piping isometrics, and work orders; take accurate measurements and make field markups
• • Operate hand and power tools, cutting and threading equipment; maintain tools and report damaged equipment
• • Follow safe work procedures including lockout/tagout, confined space awareness, and site-specific safety rules during overnight shifts

What We're Looking For

• • Minimum 3 years of industrial pipefitting experience required
• • Proven skills in steel and plastic pipe installation and valve installation
• • Ability to read blueprints, piping isometrics, and basic schematics
• • Reliable attendance and the ability to work overnight shift schedule consistently
• • Physically able to lift, climb, bend and work in confined spaces; comfortable using hand and power tools

Qualifications

• • High school diploma or GED preferred
• • OSHA 10-hour construction safety card (preferred)
• • Confined space awareness / entry training (preferred)
• • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites
• • Proven track record of industrial pipefitting or relevant trade credentials
