Industrial Pipefitter

About This Role

We need an experienced industrial pipefitter based anywhere in Kentucky to install, maintain and repair industrial piping systems. Day-to-day work focuses on steel pipe installation, valve work, butt-weld fabrication, underground piping and troubleshooting pumps and gas systems. This is field work across Kentucky — projects may be at plants, refineries, water/wastewater or industrial facilities. Competitive pay based on experience, steady hours, and opportunities for overtime. Candidates should be ready to travel between job sites within the state.

What You'll Do

• • Install, align and weld steel piping and fittings, including butt-weld fabrication and tie-ins
• • Install, test and maintain valves, actuators and related piping hardware
• • Troubleshoot mechanical systems (pumps, gas valves) and gas distribution systems
• • Read and follow piping and mechanical blueprints, isometrics and piping specs for layout and installation
• • Perform underground pipefitting, excavation support and joint/reseal work as required
• • Maintain accurate job logs, follow safety procedures and support site shutdowns/turnarounds

What We're Looking For

• • Proven industrial pipefitting experience working on steel piping systems and industrial sites
• • Hands-on experience with butt-weld pipe fabrication, valve installation and steel pipe installation
• • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems (pumps, gas valves) and gas piping systems
• • Competent reading and interpreting of piping & mechanical blueprints and isometrics
• • Able to travel to job sites across Kentucky and work variable hours including overtime and shutdowns
• • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites

Qualifications

• • High school diploma or GED preferred
• • 3+ years industrial pipefitting experience (preferred)
• • Butt-weld qualification or welding certification preferred
• • OSHA 10 (or OSHA 30 preferred), confined space and permit-required confined space training preferred
• • Ability to pass drug screen and background check; English required, Spanish a plus
