Pipelayer

About this role

Join a large construction project in Aubrey, TX as a Pipelayer installing underground sanitary and storm sewer systems. This is hands-on work on active job sites — you’ll follow plans and tolerances, use levels and lasers, and ensure pipe runs meet grade and alignment requirements. We’re looking for candidates with at least 5 years of underground pipe-laying experience, strong attention to detail, and a safety-first mindset. The role includes training others, performing general site labor as needed, and full benefits including PTO, paid holidays, medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

What you'll do

  • Install sanitary and storm sewer structures and underground pipe systems per plans and tolerances
  • Lay out pipe routes from blueprints and coordinate layouts with supervisors
  • Cut, align, join, and seal pipe using levels, lasers, welding or sealing methods as required
  • Grade and level trench bases, backfill and cover installed pipe, and ensure proper bedding and stabilization
  • Check slopes and elevations for conformance using levels/lasers and perform necessary adjustments
  • Train and mentor less-experienced crew members and perform general construction labor as needed

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of underground pipe-laying experience on large construction sites
  • Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, site layouts, and grade specifications
  • Skilled with laser/level/transit use, measuring and cutting pipe to tolerance
  • Experience with trench excavation, bedding, backfill, and trench stabilization techniques
  • Strong attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and ability to work in a team
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to handle physical work in variable weather conditions

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 5+ years of underground pipelaying experience
  • Proficient in reading drawings and performing basic field math
  • Experienced in laser and level use for slope and elevation checks
  • Familiarity with sewer/storm pipe installation, joint sealing, and pipe testing
