Commercial Journeyman Plumber

About This Role

Join a fast-growing commercial plumbing team in North Texas as a licensed Journeyman Plumber. This hands-on role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and replacing commercial plumbing systems on construction and restoration projects. Pay is $38–$48/hr plus uncapped commission with OTE of $80k–$100k. You’ll dispatch from home, handle service requests, submit reports and invoices, and work on job sites using hand and power tools and heavy equipment. This role suits a dependable, safety-minded plumber who communicates clearly with customers and management and takes pride in quality work.

What You'll Do

• • Diagnose, repair, and replace commercial plumbing systems and equipment (pumps, valves, water heaters, DWV, hydronic systems).
• • Respond to service requests, follow company workflows for reporting, documentation, and invoicing.
• • Work safely on construction and restoration sites using hand/power tools and assist with heavy equipment handling when required.
• • Communicate status, repair strategy, and parts needs clearly with customers, project managers, and dispatch.
• • Check completed work for defects and correct issues to meet code and project standards.
• • Assist and coordinate with other licensed plumbing staff and trades on commercial projects.

What We're Looking For

• • Valid Journeyman Plumber license with commercial plumbing experience (construction/service).
• • Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and plumbing schematics.
• • Hands-on experience installing and troubleshooting piping systems: copper, steel, PVC/CPVC, DWV, and hydronic components.
• • Skills troubleshooting mechanical systems (pumps, gas valves), basic electrical for controls, and performing load/measure calculations.
• • Comfortable using hand and power tools, performing heavy lifting, and following jobsite safety procedures.
• • Strong verbal and written communication; able to complete service reports and interact professionally with customers and team.

Qualifications

• • State Licensed Journeyman Plumber (TX) required
• • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for job travel
• • OSHA 10 (or 30) preferred
• • Ability to pass drug screen and background check (employer policy)
• • English required; Spanish or other languages a plus
