Commercial Plumbing Technician

About This Role

Plumber — Join as a Commercial Plumbing Technician in Orlando, FL. You’ll install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in commercial buildings, work with other trades, and respond to on-call needs. Pay range $22.00–$48.00/hr; schedule is Monday–Friday with on-call shifts as needed. This role requires hands-on troubleshooting, blueprint reading, and preventive maintenance. You’ll work independently on service calls and as part of project teams, follow safety rules, keep tools and vehicle maintained, and deliver professional customer service on every job.

What You'll Do

• • Install, replace and repair commercial plumbing fixtures, piping, valves and systems according to plans and codes
• • Troubleshoot and diagnose leaks, clogs, water flow issues and broken piping; complete repairs and parts replacement
• • Perform preventative maintenance on boilers, drains, pumps, backflow devices and other commercial plumbing equipment
• • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and work orders to plan jobs and order materials
• • Coordinate with other trades, follow safety protocols, and keep accurate job documentation and service reports
• • Maintain company vehicle, tools and equipment; respond to on-call service requests as scheduled

What We're Looking For

• • Minimum 2 years commercial plumbing experience
• • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical schematics
• • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for commercial plumbing systems
• • Working knowledge of local plumbing codes, regulations and safe work practices
• • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background/drug screening as required
• • Able to work independently, as part of a team, and respond to occasional on-call shifts

Qualifications

• • High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
• • Minimum 2 years experience in commercial plumbing
• • Valid driver’s license (required)
• • Proficient in blueprint reading and knowledgeable of plumbing codes
• • English required; Spanish language skills are a plus
