Project Manager / Estimator

About This Role

We are hiring a hands-on Project Manager/Estimator to run industrial construction jobs in and around Ennis, TX. You’ll oversee projects from mobilization to closeout, create accurate estimates and budgets, and keep crews and subcontractors working on schedule and on budget. This role is direct and practical — you’ll be in the field regularly, writing estimates, tracking costs, handling daily reports, and enforcing jobsite safety. What You'll Do

• • Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for industrial construction projects
• • Manage projects from start to finish: mobilization, scheduling, coordination, and closeout
• • Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site crews; track deliveries and labor
• • Monitor project performance, costs, and schedule; update forecasts and change orders
• • Maintain project documentation: daily logs, RFIs, subcontracts, safety records, and progress reports

What We're Looking For

• • Proven experience managing and estimating industrial or heavy construction projects
• • Ability to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and translate them into schedules and budgets
• • Strong cost estimation skills and experience preparing bids and budgets
• • Track and monitor project performance with an eye for cost control and schedule adherence
• • Familiarity with jobsite safety practices and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred
• • Proficiency with estimating and scheduling tools (examples: ProEst, PlanSwift, MS Project, or similar)
• • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; willingness to travel between job sites
• • High school diploma or GED required; construction-related certificate or trade schooling a plus
• • Strong communication skills and ability to read plans, specs, and blueprints
