This role is ideal for someone with proven mechanical construction experience who can manage schedules, budgets, and documentation, enforce quality and safety standards, and keep clients informed. Competitive pay based on experience and a full benefits package available.
What you'll do
- • Plan and execute mechanical construction projects: develop work schedules, define scope, and set milestones.
- • Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, vendors, and client representatives on daily activities.
- • Manage project budgets, prepare cost estimates, track job costs, and control change orders.
- • Maintain project documentation: daily reports, RFIs, submittals, drawings, permits, and closeout files.
- • Enforce quality control and site safety standards; perform regular site inspections and safety meetings.
- • Communicate progress and issues to clients and stakeholders; resolve conflicts and negotiate subcontractor work.
What we're looking for
- • 5+ years managing mechanical construction projects (commercial or industrial preferred).
- • Proven leadership and team management skills; ability to supervise foremen and crews.
- • Strong written and verbal communication with clients, field teams, and subcontractors.
- • Experience with scheduling, cost estimation, job cost reporting, and P&L basics.
- • Working knowledge of building codes, mechanical systems (HVAC/piping), and regulatory compliance.
- • Familiarity with construction management software (Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam) and MS Office.
Qualifications
- • OSHA 30-hour card required (or willing to obtain)
- • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; clean driving record preferred
- • Trade background in mechanical systems, journeyman/foreman experience preferred
- • Proficiency with Procore, MS Project, Primavera or similar software
- • First Aid/CPR preferred
- • English required; Spanish a plus
- • PMP, CCM, or equivalent project management certification a plus
What we offer
- • Competitive pay based on experience plus performance bonuses
- • Health, dental, and vision insurance options
- • 401(k) plan with company match
- • Paid time off and paid holidays
