Civil Foreman

About This Role

Experienced Civil Foreman needed for an industrial power plant project in Mabelvale (Little Rock), AR. This is a lead-level field role responsible for directing civil crews, keeping work on schedule and on budget, and ensuring quality and safety on site. Pay is $28-34/hr with $100/day per diem and 5x10 shifts. You will run daily operations for your crew — plan work, coordinate equipment and materials, keep accurate production and timesheet records, hold toolbox talks, and enforce company and government safety rules. This role requires hands-on industrial civil construction experience, strong blueprint reading, and the ability to work at heights and in harsh site conditions.

What You'll Do

• • Lead and supervise civil crews to meet schedule, cost and quality targets on an industrial power project
• • Plan and coordinate people, equipment, tools and materials for safe, efficient daily work
• • Keep accurate records: quantities, productivity rates, timesheets and daily reports
• • Conduct toolbox talks, safety meetings and enforce company and government safety procedures
• • Inspect work for compliance with plans, specs and industry standards; correct deficiencies
• • Coordinate with other crafts and project supervision to sequence activities and remove roadblocks

What We're Looking For

• • 5+ years’ industrial civil construction experience, including crew supervision in a power or heavy industrial setting
• • Strong blueprint/drawing reading and interpretation skills
• • Able to work at heights, in all weather, and in noisy/dusty industrial environments
• • Must be physically able to stand, walk, climb ladders/scaffolds, lift up to 50 lbs and move around confined/uneven spaces
• • Must have required basic hand and layout tools and be available for 5x10 shifts, overtime and irregular hours as needed
• • Ability to pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing; valid U.S. driver license may be required

Qualifications

• • Experience as a Civil Foreman in a power plant or industrial construction setting
• • Proven blueprint/drawing reading and site layout ability
• • OSHA 10 (required) or OSHA 30 (preferred) or equivalent safety training preferred
• • First Aid/CPR preferred
• • High school diploma or GED preferred
• • English language proficiency to read plans and communicate with crew and supervision; ability to pass pre-access drug/alcohol test
