General Foreman / Project Manager — Civil Construction

Midland, TX $45-$45/hr

About This Role

Lead large civil construction crews across West Texas as a traveling General Foreman / Project Manager. You’ll run daily field operations, coordinate flaggers and heavy equipment operators, and manage crews of 80–120 workers on active civil projects. This is a travel-heavy role across West Texas with pay up to $45/hour and up to $830/week per diem for qualified travelers. If you run crews, manage heavy equipment, and keep sites safe and productive, this role is for you.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and supervise civil crews of 80–120 workers on site and traveling projects
  • Coordinate flaggers, heavy equipment operators, and subcontractors to keep work flowing
  • Manage day-to-day field operations: schedules, task assignments, and on-site logistics
  • Enforce safety procedures, inspect work for quality, and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Monitor equipment and material needs; coordinate deliveries and site setup
  • Keep accurate daily reports, timecards, and project documentation for billing and job-cost tracking

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience leading large civil crews (80–120 workers) on heavy-civil projects
  • Strong ability to read and interpret civil drawings and construction plans
  • Hands-on experience coordinating flaggers, heavy equipment operators, and subcontractors
  • Clear, direct verbal and written communication with crews and site leadership
  • Track record enforcing safety standards and managing quality on site
  • Comfortable with regular travel across West Texas and managing multiple, moving job sites

Qualifications

  • OSHA 30 (preferred) or OSHA 10 minimum
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel/overnight frequently
  • 5+ years supervising civil construction crews or equivalent foreman/project management experience
  • Proficient reading civil drawings and using construction management software
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screen
  • Strong written and verbal English communication; bilingual (Spanish) a plus
