About This Role

Join our Atlanta crew as a Safety Advisor focused on drywall work. You’ll be in the field performing site safety audits, leading incident investigations, and coaching crews on safe work practices. This is a hands-on role for someone with construction experience who can communicate clearly with crews and supervisors. Pay is $40,000–$49,000/yr. Reliable transportation is required. Bilingual Spanish/English candidates are encouraged to apply — this role supports multiple job sites across the Atlanta area and requires practical, clear direction to keep crews working safe and on schedule.

What You'll Do

  • Perform regular on-site safety audits and inspections on drywall construction sites, documenting findings and corrective actions
  • Lead accident/incident investigations, complete incident reports, and conduct root cause analysis
  • Advise and train employees and foremen on safe work procedures, toolbox talks, and site-specific hazards
  • Enforce safety procedures and ensure compliance with OSHA and local building codes
  • Maintain project safety documentation, inspection logs, and follow up on corrective actions
  • Communicate safety expectations to crews, resolve safety-related conflicts, and coordinate with site leadership

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years construction experience — must include drywall industry experience
  • Proven ability to perform safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations in construction settings
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to advise crews and write clear reports
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel between job sites across Atlanta
  • On-the-ground leadership and conflict resolution skills; comfortable enforcing rules
  • Basic knowledge of building codes, OSHA standards, and jobsite hazard control

Qualifications

  • OSHA 30 (required) and OSHA 10 (preferred)
  • CPR, AED, and First Aid certification (required)
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Bilingual: English and Spanish (preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of drywall/construction experience
