Safety Advisor — Drywall (Atlanta, GA)

About This Role

Join our Atlanta crew as a Safety Advisor focused on drywall projects. You'll be on site conducting safety audits, leading incident investigations, and advising crews on safe work practices. This is a hands-on role for someone who knows construction, can communicate clearly, and enforces jobsite safety every day. Pay is $40,000–$49,000 per year. Candidates need at least 3 years of drywall/construction experience, reliable transportation, and strong communication skills. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus and helpful on mixed-language crews.

What You'll Do

  • Perform regular on-site safety audits and inspections of drywall jobsites; document findings and ensure corrective actions are taken
  • Lead accident/incident investigations, complete reports, and perform root cause analysis
  • Provide toolbox talks, jobsite briefings, and on-the-spot coaching to crews on safe work methods
  • Enforce safety procedures and building code requirements; follow up to verify remediation
  • Maintain accurate project safety documentation, logs, and inspection records
  • Coordinate with supervisors and subcontractors to resolve safety issues and reduce risk

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years of construction experience, specifically in the drywall industry
  • Experience performing safety audits, site inspections, and incident investigations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to advise and train field crews
  • Proven ability to enforce safety procedures and resolve on-site conflicts
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license for travel between job sites
  • Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus

Qualifications

  • CPR, AED, First Aid certification
  • OSHA 30 and OSHA 10
  • Hilti Certified (or equivalent tool training)
  • Fluent in English; Spanish fluency a plus
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
