Solar Installer / Technician Foreman

About This Role

Experienced Solar Installer / Technician needed to lead general labor crews on industrial and commercial PV projects based in Florida with travel across the U.S. This is a hands-on foreman role: you’ll install and wire PV systems, run roof and concrete scopes, manage site logistics, and keep projects moving safely and on schedule. You’ll supervise laborers, operate material-handling and aerial equipment, perform roof penetrations and anchoring, and troubleshoot PV/electrical systems to code. Pay up to $44/hr, steady work on large commercial projects, and travel opportunities nationwide.

What You'll Do

• • Lead and manage general labor crews on rooftop and foundation PV/energy storage projects; assign tasks and keep crews productive and safe
• • Install and wire PV systems and racking; mount panels, wire inverters, and connect electrical components to code
• • Perform roof penetrations, anchoring, sealing/welding and work with roof warranties and manufacturer requirements
• • Complete concrete scopes: form and pour foundations, bollards, flatwork, trenching and basic finish work
• • Operate forklifts, material handling and aerial equipment; load/unload trucks and manage on-site materials
• • Read structural drawings and schematics, conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot PV/electrical systems on site

What We're Looking For

• • 10+ years industrial/commercial construction experience; minimum 5 years in solar/PV installations (required)
• • OSHA 10 certification required (OSHA 30 preferred); proven Supervisory/Foreman experience running labor crews
• • Strong electrical knowledge of grid-tied PV systems, ability to read blueprints and technical documentation, and use testing/troubleshooting tools
• • Own basic hand and power tools; comfortable lifting heavy materials and performing repetitive physical work outdoors
• • Willingness to travel across the U.S.; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

• • NABCEP Energy Storage Installation Professional (preferred)
• • NABCEP PV Installation Professional (PVIP) Board Certification
• • NABCEP PV Installer Specialist (PVIS) Board Certification
• • OSHA 10 (required); OSHA 30 (preferred)
• • Valid driver’s license (required for travel)
