Civil Foreman (Day Shift)

About This Role

Looking for a hands-on Civil Foreman to lead civil/industrial field crews in Forsyth, GA. This is a working-foreman role — you’ll be in the field running crews, setting layouts, enforcing safety, and keeping projects moving. This is NOT a project manager or superintendent role; we need a proven foreman. Day shift position paying $32/hr with $125/day per diem for eligible candidates (50+ mile radius). Must have 10+ years of construction or industrial field experience and the ability to lead crews and communicate clearly on site.

What You'll Do

• • Lead and supervise day-to-day field crew activities as a working foreman (hands-on work expected)
• • Lay out work, read plans, set grade and benchmarks, and verify line and grade
• • Assign tasks, monitor crew productivity, and provide on-the-job direction and training
• • Enforce safety procedures and maintain compliance with site safety plans
• • Perform daily inspections and quality checks to ensure work meets specs
• • Complete daily reports, timekeeping, and communicate progress to site leadership

What We're Looking For

• • 10+ years of construction or industrial field experience (civil experience required)
• • Proven experience supervising and directing field crews as a foreman
• • Strong verbal and written communication with crews, subcontractors, and supervision
• • Working knowledge of building codes, site layout, grade control, and inspections
• • Ability to enforce safety and comply with local, state, and federal regulations
• • Available for day shift and able to travel/receive per diem if traveling 50+ miles

Qualifications

• • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• • OSHA 10 (minimum) — OSHA 30 preferred
• • First Aid/CPR preferred
• • Able to pass drug screen and background check
• • English required; Spanish or other language skills a plus
