Superintendent (General Foreman)

About This Role

Superintendent needed in Victoria, TX to run multi-trade commercial field operations. You will lead daily site activities, coordinate multiple foremen and crews (concrete, framing, MEP, civil), enforce safety, keep work organized, and make sure the schedule and quality standards are met. This is a hands-on leadership role for a proven field boss who reads plans, resolves field problems fast, communicates with superintendents and project managers, and drives productivity. Competitive pay (DOE), steady commercial projects, and overtime when needed.

What You'll Do

  • Supervise and coordinate multiple foremen and crews across concrete, framing, MEP and civil scopes to meet daily and weekly schedules
  • Maintain site safety and enforcement of procedures (toolbox talks, PPE, jobsite housekeeping) and lead incident reporting
  • Read and enforce plans and specifications — verify work meets quality standards and coordinate inspections
  • Monitor productivity and schedule, adjust crew assignments, and communicate progress and delays to superintendents and PMs
  • Resolve field issues (resource conflicts, sequencing, subcontractor coordination) and provide clear direction to foremen
  • Keep organized jobsite documentation: daily reports, RFIs, submittals, punchlists and basic cost/schedule tracking

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years as a foreman/leadman on commercial construction projects with multi-trade experience
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and construction sequencing
  • Strong leadership and crew management skills — proven ability to supervise multiple foremen
  • Hands-on knowledge of concrete and framing operations, site layout, and quality control
  • Clear communicator with good problem-solving and conflict resolution skills; comfortable using construction software and mobile reporting
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to site; able to work overtime as needed

Qualifications

  • OSHA 30-hour certification (preferred)
  • First Aid/CPR certification (preferred)
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Experience with construction management software (Procore, PlanGrid or similar) a plus
  • Spanish language skills a plus but not required
