Drywall Superintendent

About This Role

Drywall Superintendent needed in Dallas, TX to run drywall installation and finishing crews on commercial and residential jobs. You’ll supervise crews from layout through final finish, keep projects on schedule and handle client communication on site. We want a hands-on leader who knows taping, floating, finishing, and installation techniques, enforces safety, and can read plans. Must be bilingual (English/Spanish) and comfortable coordinating materials, inspections, and quality control across multiple job sites in the Dallas area.

What You'll Do

• • Supervise day-to-day drywall installation and finishing work from start to completion
• • Assign crews, set daily priorities, check workmanship and enforce quality standards
• • Create and maintain schedules to meet project milestones and control labor costs
• • Coordinate material orders, staging, and on-site inventory to avoid delays
• • Perform site safety checks, enforce PPE use and OSHA requirements, and run toolbox talks
• • Communicate directly with clients, subcontractors, and project managers; document progress and issues

What We're Looking For

• • 5+ years hands-on drywall installation and finishing experience with crew leadership
• • Proven ability to read plans, layout walls, and interpret finish schedules
• • Strong knowledge of taping, mudding, sanding, corner bead, and drywall hardware
• • Track record of hitting schedules and managing labor to stay within budget
• • Clear communicator in both English and Spanish; able to lead bilingual crews

Qualifications

• • Bilingual English/Spanish — required
• • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to Dallas-area sites
• • OSHA 10 (or OSHA 30 preferred) safety card
• • 5+ years leading drywall crews or supervising finishing work
• • First Aid/CPR preferred
