Site Superintendent

About This Role

Superintendent needed in McKinney, TX to run day-to-day site operations. You’ll lead crews, schedule work, and make sure material gets on and off site safely. This is hands-on supervision — expect to be on the ground helping with loading/unloading, temporary fencing, clean-up, and general carpentry when needed. Pay is competitive: $90,000–$120,000/year DOE. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday with overtime available. Reliable truck and basic hand and power tools required. If you run a crew, know how to read simple plans, and keep work moving, this is the job for you.

What You'll Do

  • Supervise daily site operations and direct crew tasks to meet schedule
  • Oversee loading and unloading of material, verify deliveries, and coordinate staging
  • Install and maintain temporary fencing and site protection
  • Organize and enforce site clean-up, debris removal, and waste disposal
  • Perform and supervise general carpentry tasks as needed to keep work progressing
  • Communicate with suppliers, subcontractors, and project leads to resolve issues

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience supervising construction crews (3–5+ years preferred)
  • Skilled in loading/unloading material and staging jobsite deliveries
  • Experience installing temporary fencing and maintaining site protection
  • Solid general carpentry skills: framing, blocking, and basic finish work
  • Ability to enforce cleanliness, safety rules, and keep work areas organized
  • Capable of lifting heavy materials, using power tools, and working outdoors

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to site
  • OSHA 10 (required) or OSHA 30 (preferred)
  • Forklift or equipment operator certification a plus for loading/unloading
  • CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
  • Pass background and drug screening
  • Spanish speaker a plus but not required
