Superintendent

About This Role

Hands-on Superintendent needed in McKinney, TX. You’ll run day-to-day field operations — directing crews, unloading and staging materials, keeping the site clean and safe, installing temporary fencing, and doing general carpentry work when needed. This is a physical role: expect to be on your feet, coordinating trades, and getting your hands dirty. Pay is competitive: $80,000–$110,000 per year (DOE) or hourly equivalent with overtime available. We want a reliable leader who knows construction basics, can read plans, manage materials on site, and keep work moving on schedule without a lot of red tape.

What You'll Do

• • Supervise and coordinate on-site crews and subcontractors daily
• • Load, unload and stage materials; verify deliveries and keep inventory organized
• • Perform and supervise site clean-up and trash removal to maintain a safe work area
• • Install and inspect temporary fencing and other perimeter controls
• • Perform general carpentry tasks and quality checks; fix issues or coordinate repairs
• • Keep daily logs, toolbox talks, and basic project documentation; communicate schedule changes to crew and office

What We're Looking For

• • 3+ years as a superintendent, foreman, or lead carpenter on commercial or heavy residential jobs
• • Proven ability to load/unload materials safely and efficiently; comfortable operating common hand and power tools
• • Experience with site clean-up protocols and maintaining a tidy, safe jobsite
• • Hands-on experience installing temporary fencing and other site controls
• • Strong general carpentry skills: blocking, framing repairs, basic finish work
• • Clear communicator who can lead crews, coordinate subs, and follow plans and schedules

Qualifications

• • OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred
• • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• • High school diploma or GED
• • First Aid/CPR certification preferred
• • Able to pass drug screen and background check
• • Spanish language skills a plus
