If you’re dependable, comfortable with travel, and want practical, career-forward experience, this is a solid step up.

What You'll Do

  • Collect, record and verify field data, notes, and measurements for surveys and site layouts
  • Interpret and apply civil and property drawings, blueprints, and legal descriptions on site
  • Perform boundary and property surveys, stake control and construction layout
  • Maintain and care for surveying equipment, tools, and field vehicles
  • Coordinate with crew members and supervisors to complete daily project tasks and travel schedules

What We're Looking For

  • Comfortable traveling to and working in Abilene, TX as required
  • Skilled at reading/interpreting drawings, blueprints, and civil plans
  • Experience with site layout, boundary surveys, and technical drawing interpretation
  • Proficient with survey instruments (total station, GPS) and basic field data software
  • Able to work outdoors in varied weather and lift/load equipment on job sites

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Preferred: LSIT, surveying tech certificate, or comparable credentials
  • English proficiency for clear communication on job sites

What We Offer

  • Competitive pay with overtime opportunities
  • Travel pay or per diem for Abilene assignments
  • Paid training and on-the-job skill development
  • Tool/equipment provided or tool allowance
