What you'll do
- • Build, update, and quality control subgrade and finished-grade surface models for GPS/GNSS-controlled dozers and excavators.
- • Interpret civil construction drawings and specifications to create machine-control models for grading and underground utilities.
- • Coordinate with survey project managers and field crews; maintain organized project file structures and model version control.
- • Prepare and distribute model files and data to field data collectors and equipment in a timely manner.
- • Process UAS/photogrammetry data for quantity checks and support survey computations and as-built CAD drafting.
- • Help develop and document department procedures and support their implementation across projects.

- • General knowledge of site and utility construction surveying practices and field layout.
- • Proficiency with survey CAD and machine-control modeling software and civil CAD drafting tools.
- • Ability to read and interpret civil construction plans, cross-sections, and grading plans.
- • Minimum 2 years experience in civil construction, surveying, drafting, or machine-control model development preferred.
