Truck Driver - Entry-Level

About This Role

Entry-level delivery driver position in Chandler, AZ. You’ll be responsible for safely transporting materials and finished goods to job sites and customers across the Phoenix area. This role is a great fit for workers with welding or materials-logistics backgrounds who want steady driving work and on-the-job training. Pay is up to $23/hr depending on experience. We’re looking for reliable candidates with a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and a strong work ethic. Forklift or general labor experience is helpful but not required — training can be provided for the right person.

What You'll Do

• • Perform daily pick-ups and deliveries on local routes, loading and unloading materials safely
• • Inspect vehicle and cargo before and after each shift; report mechanical or safety issues
• • Secure loads, use hand trucks and pallet jacks, and operate a forklift if certified
• • Keep accurate delivery logs, paper or electronic, and collect signatures as required
• • Follow all traffic laws and on-site safety rules; maintain a clean, professional appearance
• • Assist crew with loading/unloading and basic site labor when needed

What We're Looking For

• • Valid Arizona driver’s license with clean driving record
• • Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform physical loading/unloading
• • Experience in welding shops, materials logistics, or general labor is preferred
• • Comfortable driving small-to-medium commercial vehicles on local routes
• • Reliable, punctual, and able to pass a background and drug screen

Qualifications

• • Valid AZ driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record (required)
• • Able to pass DOT/commercial vehicle drug screen and background check
• • Forklift certification (preferred but not required)
• • Welding certificate or materials/logistics experience (preferred)
• • Basic English for directions and paperwork; Spanish helpful
