About This Role

Join a heavy-haul crew in Fallston, MD as a Lowbed Truck Driver hauling construction materials and heavy equipment to job sites. You’ll run lowbed, tilt and flatbed trucks, handle loading/unloading, keep accurate logs and follow DOT rules to get loads delivered safely and on time. Pay is $26–$30/hr based on experience. What You'll Do

  • Drive lowbed, lowboy, tilt and flatbed trucks to deliver construction materials and heavy equipment to job and customer sites.
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; report defects and coordinate repairs with the shop.
  • Load, secure and unload heavy equipment safely using chains, binders, ramps and winches; follow proper rigging and load securement procedures.
  • Maintain accurate driver logs and vehicle records in compliance with DOT and company policies.
  • Communicate with dispatch, site supervisors and customers about arrival times, site access, route restrictions and any traffic or site issues.
  • Operate independently on routes while representing the crew professionally at job sites and with customers.

What We're Looking For

  • Valid Class A CDL required for lowbed/lowboy operations (Class B acceptable for tilt/flatbed assignments).
  • Minimum 1–2 years experience operating lowbed or heavy-haul trucks; heavy equipment experience preferred.
  • Current DOT medical card and ability to pass DOT drug/alcohol screening and background checks.
  • Ability to perform physical work including lifting up to 75 lbs, climbing ramps, securing loads and working outdoors in varied conditions.
  • Clean driving record, strong attention to safety and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Qualifications

  • CDL-A (required) — CDL-B may be accepted for some tilt/flatbed roles.
  • Current DOT medical card and ability to pass drug screen.
  • Bilingual: English and Spanish (preferred).
  • 1–2 years lowbed/heavy-haul driving experience (preferred).
  • Able to lift up to 75 lbs and perform required physical duties; willing to work varied schedules including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
