Class B CDL Truck Driver — Night Shift

About this role

Join a local hauling crew as a night-shift Class B CDL truck driver based in Paradise, PA. You’ll run local routes hauling dirt, stone and asphalt to jobsite locations and return home after each shift. This is a hands-on, non-exempt role focused on safe, timely deliveries and reliable equipment care. Daily work includes vehicle inspections, keeping accurate truck logs to meet state and federal rules, and clear communication with dispatch about schedules, traffic and site conditions. Night-shift availability and a strong safety mindset are required. A sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.

What you'll do

• • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on assigned vehicle; report defects and safety concerns
• • Load, haul and deliver dirt, stone and asphalt to jobsite locations on local routes
• • Maintain truck logs and records in compliance with state, federal and company regulations
• • Communicate with dispatcher about schedules, traffic, site conditions and delivery status
• • Follow truck maintenance, cleanliness and repair guidelines; secure loads per policy
• • Perform other job-related duties as assigned, including assisting on site as needed

What we're looking for

• • Valid Class B CDL required (Class A drivers considered)
• • Experience operating dump trucks/tri-axle and handling bulk materials (dirt, stone, asphalt)
• • Familiarity with loading/unloading procedures, load securement and basic equipment checks
• • Ability to keep accurate logs and follow state and federal driving regulations
• • Comfort driving local night routes and communicating clearly with dispatch and crew

Qualifications

• • Class B CDL (required); Class A CDL accepted
• • Current DOT medical certificate (or ability to obtain)
• • Ability to pass drug and background screening
• • Clean driving record
• • English proficiency for safe communication on radio/phone and site
