Class B CDL Night Tri-Axle Dump Truck Driver

About This Role

Night-shift Class B CDL tri-axle dump truck driver needed for local construction material runs in Paradise, PA. You’ll haul dirt, stone and asphalt to jobsites and customers on a predictable night schedule and return home after each shift. This is hands-on, physical work focused on safe hauling, keeping accurate logs, performing pre/post-trip inspections, communicating with dispatch, and maintaining your truck. Pay is $25–$30/hr depending on experience and you’ll work local routes — no long overnight trips away from home.

What You'll Do

• • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to check for safety issues, damage, or tampering and document findings
• • Load and haul dirt, stone, asphalt and other construction materials to job sites and customer locations using a tri-axle dump truck
• • Maintain accurate truck logs and records in compliance with state, federal, and company regulations
• • Communicate with dispatcher about schedules, traffic, site conditions, and any delivery issues
• • Keep assigned truck clean and perform basic maintenance; report needed repairs per company guidelines
• • Follow site safety rules and assist with safe loading/unloading as directed

What We're Looking For

• • Valid Class B CDL (Class A accepted) with appropriate endorsements and a clean driving record
• • Proven experience operating tri-axle or dump trucks and moving construction materials
• • Working knowledge of daily vehicle inspections and ability to identify/report mechanical or safety issues
• • Familiarity with state and federal log rules and experience maintaining accurate logs
• • Clear communication skills to coordinate with dispatch and jobsite personnel
• • Ability to perform physical tasks: climb, lift, secure loads, and work outdoors in varied weather

Qualifications

• • CDL — B required (CDL — A accepted)
• • Current DOT medical card / ability to pass DOT physical
• • Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
• • Minimum 1 year driving experience with tri-axle/dump trucks preferred
• • Basic English for safe communication with dispatch and jobsite personnel
