Water Truck Driver

About This Role

We’re hiring Water Truck Drivers for construction projects in the West Texas area (Floydada, TX). Pay is $29–$31/hour depending on experience. Must have a valid CDL-A with tanker endorsement and be ready to start ASAP. This is hands-on field work: you’ll be hauling and applying water on site, working with frac tanks and pumps when needed, and following DOT and site safety rules. If you travel 60+ miles to the project, you may qualify for an $830/week per diem while on assignment.

What You'll Do

• • Operate water truck on construction sites: haul, spray, and apply water as directed to control dust and support operations
• • Load, transfer and unload water using frac tanks, pumps, hoses and related equipment; secure loads and manage flow rates
• • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, basic maintenance checks, and report defects or safety issues
• • Maintain accurate daily logs, DOT paperwork and tanker manifests; follow hazardous materials handling procedures when applicable
• • Work with site supervisors and crews to follow site safety plans, use required PPE, and assist with traffic control or flagging as needed

What We're Looking For

• • Valid CDL-A with tanker endorsement (required)
• • Experience operating water trucks, tank vehicles, dump trucks, or similar heavy equipment; frac tank transfer experience is a plus
• • Ability to load/unload material, handle hoses and pumps; forklift experience helpful
• • Available to start ASAP and able to travel to West Texas project locations
• • Able to pass pre-employment drug screen, background check, and meet DOT medical requirements

Qualifications

• • CDL-A with tanker endorsement (required)
• • Current DOT medical card and ability to meet DOT physical requirements
• • Clean driving record / acceptable MVR
• • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
• • Forklift certification preferred; basic English communication skills
