Water Truck Driver

About this role

Join a West Texas construction crew as a Water Truck Driver based near Floydada, TX. You’ll run water trucks on site, handle transfers and loading, and support dust control and compaction operations across regional construction projects. This is a hands-on role that requires a valid CDL-A with tanker endorsement and the ability to start as soon as possible. Travelers from 60+ miles away may qualify for per diem and travel support; local candidates will work steady regional assignments.

What you'll do

• • Operate water trucks on construction sites for dust control, compaction, and site prep
• • Load and transfer water to and from frac tanks and other storage as directed
• • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and basic daily maintenance
• • Secure loads, follow tank loading/unloading procedures, and maintain accurate logs
• • Follow site safety plans, traffic control, and directions from field supervisors
• • Assist with loading/unloading materials and operate auxiliary equipment when required (forklift, dump truck)

What we're looking for

• • Valid CDL-A with tanker endorsement required
• • Proven experience operating water trucks and tank vehicles on construction sites
• • Experience working with frac tanks and transferring/loading water is a plus
• • Able to start immediately and commit to West Texas regional project schedules
• • Comfortable working outdoors in variable West Texas weather and remote sites

Qualifications

• • CDL-A with tanker endorsement (required)
• • Current DOT medical card (as required for CDL operation)
• • Clean driving record and ability to pass drug/alcohol screening
• • Forklift and heavy-equipment experience preferred
