What You'll Do

• • Perform general welding tasks in shop and field settings using appropriate processes (MIG, TIG, stick) as required
• • Prepare and fit metal components: measure, cut, grind, and tack prior to welding
• • Read and follow basic drawings, layouts, and weld symbols to meet job specifications
• • Inspect welds and make repairs to ensure quality and code compliance
• • Maintain welding equipment, consumables, and a clean, safe work area; follow all safety procedures

What We're Looking For

• • Minimum 2 years hands-on welding experience or equivalent proven ability
• • Able to perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding on steel and aluminum (processes as required)
• • Read basic blueprints, follow weld symbols, and perform quality checks
• • Comfortable with shop and occasional field work; able to lift, bend, and stand for long periods
• • Reliable transportation to job sites and good attendance

Qualifications

• • Welding test or portfolio of past work (ability to pass on-site weld test)
• • AWS certification or similar welding credential preferred
• • OSHA 10-hour or equivalent safety training preferred
• • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to local job sites
• • Basic English reading skills for drawings and safety documents
