I worked a three-week shutdown at Big Rivers power plant as a contractor for Day and Zimmerman.
Job scope included fibbing and rebuilding drag line, as well as the 2 main coal shoots. Did a lot of the measuring, cutting and welding back material.

I was a contractor with Day and Zimmerman/Duke Energy at the Gibson Generating station. I was on
our tube leak crew as well as general maintenance throughout the plant. Took classification test just for D&Z and tested to Boilermaker.

Started as Structural Welder and eventually moved up to a leadership role as night shift production lead.
Versed in FCAW, sub arc, stick, air gouging. Can also read blueprints, held overhead crane certs.
