Carpenter (Foreman Eligible)

Atlanta, Georgia

About This Role

We’re looking for reliable carpenters who can read plans, maintain quality, and step into a foreman role when needed. Apply if you want steady work and the chance to lead a crew.

What You'll Do

  • Read blueprints and layout daily tasks; measure, mark, and cut materials to spec.
  • Perform bench carpentry and cabinetmaking: build, assemble, and install cabinets and casework.
  • Execute finish carpentry: install trim, casing, doors, sills, and complete wood floor installation and sanding/finishing.
  • Perform rough framing and steel framing for interior partitions and exterior nonbearing walls.
  • Build and strip concrete formwork, assist with basic excavation/trench work and site prep.
  • Supervise small crews when acting as foreman: assign work, check quality, enforce safety, and keep the job on schedule.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years hands-on carpentry experience covering bench, finish, and rough carpentry; cabinetmaking experience required.
  • Proven ability with steel framing for interior partitions and general framing carpentry.
  • Experience installing wood floors and performing floor sanding and finishing.
  • Comfortable building and stripping concrete forms and doing excavation/trench tasks safely.
  • Able to read plans, use layout tools, and operate common power and hand tools; strong attention to measurements and finish detail.
  • Reliable attendance, dependable transportation to Atlanta-area job sites, and willingness to work overtime when needed.

Qualifications

  • OSHA-10 card required; OSHA-30 preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
  • Able to lift 50+ lbs, work at heights, and perform physical labor in varying weather.
  • Own basic hand tools; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

What We Offer

  • Pay $24–$38/hr DOE; overtime paid at time-and-a-half.
  • Weekly pay with direct deposit available.
  • Tool allowance and boot stipend provided.
  • Paid holidays and vacation after probation; foreman pay premiums for lead roles.
  • On-the-job training and steady project pipeline across multiple trades.
