Concrete Carpenter — Formwork

About this role

Looking for experienced concrete carpenters in Tulsa, OK to build, set and strip concrete forms for commercial and government projects. This is a per diem role for crew-focused tradespeople who can read drawings, measure and cut accurately, and deliver quality formwork on schedule. You'll work on multi-week sites as part of a small crew, supporting layout, form assembly, and concrete placement. Relocation is welcome for qualified candidates. Bilingual English/Spanish ability is highly valued to help crews communicate on site.

What you'll do

• • Build, set, brace and strip concrete forms per drawings and specs
• • Read and interpret construction drawings and as-built notes for form layout
• • Measure, cut and fasten lumber, plywood and form components to precise tolerances
• • Perform site layout and staking for form placement and openings
• • Coordinate with crew and concrete crews during placement and finishing to maintain schedule and quality
• • Inspect formwork and hardware; ensure accuracy, alignment and proper anchorage before pours

What we're looking for

• • Proven hands-on experience in concrete formwork carpentry on commercial or government projects
• • Strong drawing-reading and drawing interpretation skills (plans, sections, details)
• • Site layout experience and ability to transfer dimensions and grades to the work
• • Skilled measuring, cutting and general framing carpentry techniques
• • Experience with concrete placement/pouring processes and working around concrete crews
• • Able to follow instructions, work safely on busy sites and collaborate with a small crew

Qualifications

• • Fluent or conversational English and Spanish
• • Proven experience building concrete forms and formwork systems
• • Comfortable reading plans, as-built drawings and site layout stakes
• • Willingness to relocate or travel to Tulsa, OK for assignment
