You’ll perform hands-on carpentry and general labor tasks—framing, trim, cabinet and countertop installation, scaffolding work, and basic finish work—working alongside a crew to get the job done right and on time. Ideal candidates are comfortable with hand tools, can read basic drawings, follow site safety rules, and apply common construction procedures. This is steady, physical work across multiple DC locations with opportunities for overtime and advancement for reliable, skilled carpenters.

Carpenter (Millwork & Casework)
Washington, DC · $20-$50/hr
Join a DC-area team as a skilled carpenter focused on high-level millwork: architectural woodwork, casework, and ornamental metalwork. You’ll install AWW, plastic laminate and metal casework, fume hoods, DFH, and other specialty items on commercial job sites. This is hands-on work — you’ll preplan installations, bring and maintain your personal tools, read blueprints, and work with minimal supervision. Safety is mandatory: follow the site safety program, report hazards or incidents, and be able to climb ladders and lift up to 50 lbs. Pay range: $20–$50/hr depending on experience.
